About The cave

The Cave Restaurant is based in St Margaret’s near the River Thames. It is a family-owned business. We wanted to create something unique like nowhere else. That is why we spent around 6 months on the interior design and other parts of the restaurant. Hard work has paid off and it looks so beautiful and unique. It is like you step into a different reality, the Cave. You would ask what is the inspiration behind the design and we would say it is our love towards nature. Even our logo speaks for itself – the mountains with the sparrow. There is a bit of a story behind it. The sparrow has been a frequent visitor in our restaurant since the beginning and we consider him as our good luck charm hence he is part of our logo.

The Cave prides itself in serving authentic delicious Persian cuisine with the freshest ingredients. Our passion for Persian Cuisine is reflected in every dish that we serve. Our menu features a wide range of classic Persian dishes, including succulent kebabs, flavorful stews and fragrant rice dishes. We also offer a variety of vegetarian options so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

At the Cave, we believe that good food is only half of the dining experience. That’s why we go above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. From the moment you walk through our doors, you will be treated like family. Our attentive staff will ensure that you have a memorable dining experience that you will want to repeat again and again.

Whether you are planning a birthday, a wedding, a corporate event or a family gathering the Cave team is here to help you create a custom menu that will impress your guests. We love celebrating holidays and all happy occasions that life brings us which is why we go the extra mile – special food, beautiful decorations and a great atmosphere.

This is a one-off Cave but in the future, we hope to create more of the Caves!

To date we have won 2 awards: Best Emerging Unique Persian Restaurant in London 2024 with the Lux Awards and the Persian Restaurant of the Year for 2024/25 with the Prestige Awards. Most recently we have been included in the Fork Top 100 restaurants in UK – we are no 33 in UK.
